About: Interactive exhibits & events dedicated to the lifetime love of learning & discovery for children. Wonderfeet Kids’ Museum is a Rutland Creative Economy initiative and nonprofit organization. Our Downtown Rutland location and educational programming provide a place where children and their families learn and play together. The initiative to create a children’s museum for Rutland is ongoing, expanding, and community-based. A web of volunteers and a broad spectrum of financial contributions support the everyday and long-term growth.

About: The Montshire Museum of Science in Norwich, Vermont, is an award-winning, hands-on science center with more than 125 exhibits, both indoors and out, on nature, technology, astronomy, and the physical sciences. Visiting exhibitions, educational programs, and special events are offered throughout the year. Open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas). The water is on in the outdoor Science Park from early May through mid-October. Visitors need to check in at the front desk to receive an admission sticker prior to using the Museum's galleries, facilities, and trails.

About: Come experience one of America’s best-preserved presidential birthplaces, the President Calvin Coolidge State Historic Site in Plymouth Notch, Vermont. The 600-acre site features historic buildings and artifacts from the President’s era. See the modest home where President Coolidge was born, step inside the family homestead where Coolidge took the presidential oath of office, pause for reflection in the warm, wood-paneled church where the Coolidge family worshiped, and end your visit at the humble grave site where President Coolidge rests alongside his family.

About: The VINS Nature Center is located off US Highway 4 in eastern Vermont. VINS stands for Vermont Institute of Natural Science, and its origins date back to 1970, when a water cleanup project for the Ottauquechee River began. This nature center has been open to the public since 2004. VINS serves as a rehabilitation center for injured birds of prey, a songbird aviary, and educational hub for anyone wanting to learn how to protect the environment. The surrounding acreage of forests and rolling hills offer scenic views for its visitors.

About: Founded in 1966 in a historic registry building, American Precision Museum followed the course of manufacturing from using water power and hand-powered lathes and turrets to producing tens of thousands of rifles for the Union during the Civil War. It now traces the history of the tool-machine industry through changing exhibits that show the progress and history of manufacturing.

About: This fully operating farm features farm animals, pastures, and interactive activities that are fun for the whole family. You will see steers, cows, oxen, sheep, pigs, horses, goats, and chickens at this lovely farm. There are four historic barns on-site displaying tools, farming equipment, and family possessions passed down from previous generations. These exhibits also teach about ice cutting, maple sugaring, and the life of rural farmers who took care of this piece of land.
